Week 3 Reflection

LABOR DAY!!!!!!!!!! We did not have a face to face meeting this week but learning never stops with Mrs. Simpson. Our lesson was on theme which plays a huge role in the settings and meaning of a story. One story we read and annotated was The Red Convertible by Lymes LaMartine. this story covered a major problem in the world called PTSD. Having grandparents that experienced war and thankfully did not have symptoms of PTSD made this story more personal. Our assignment was to research PTSD and relate it to the story where one of the characters shows heavy signs of this illness. I enjoyed this assignment because I learned so much more information about symptoms and how it affects people.
